Talboys analog orbital shakers provide reproducible motion that is evenly distributed through all samples via a counter-balanced electronic drive. Shakers can be operated in continuous or timed mode from 1 min. to 2 hrs., adjustable through front panel knobs. They can accommodate small and large steel platforms with a weight capacity of 35 lb. Platforms are easy to attach and stay in place even with vigorous shaking. Shakers are supplied with a rubber pad that fits the 13" x 11" tray. They can also accommodate a double tier configuration. Hardened enamel finish resists most abrasives and corrosives.

Talboys digital orbital shakers are designed for a range of applications including cell cultures, solubility studies, bacterial suspensions and general mixing. The variable-speed microprocessor control provides consistent, uniform mixing action, while the ramping feature slowly increases speed to desired setpoint to avoid splashing. The timer can be set for operation from 1 second to 160 hrs. and will display elapsed time or count down to zero. An audible alarm sounds when the timer reaches zero. The LED displays show speed and time independently.

The Accu-drive shaking system delivers exceptional speed control, accuracy and durability. The system continuously monitors shaking speed and maintains setpoint even under changing loads. Displayed speed is accurate to 1% of setting. A built-in load sensor detects unbalanced conditions and automatically reduces rpm to a safe speed or stops unit to protect samples. Shakers' powerful triple eccentric drive and brushless motor provides reliable service in continuous duty and can handle loads up to 35lb.

Microprocessor will display last setpoint and will restart if power is interrupted. RS232 serial port provides two-way communication for operator to data logging and control unit. Shaker is supplied with a nonskid rubber mat that fits the 13" x 11" platform tray. Tray is suitable for holding petri dishes and cell culture flasks.

Units include a 92" (234cm) detachable, 3-wire cord and plug (230V units are supplied with Euro type plug). CE and CSA Marked.

Optional universal platform attachment has 3 adjustable cushioned rollers to hold most glassware securely. Other optional accessories include platforms that allow attaching flask clamps and or test tube racks and double tier braces for stacking an 18" x 18" additional platform.
