Sending your Weight(s)/Weight Sets in for Calibration

Please follow the shipping instructions below to ensure that your weight(s)/ weight sets are not damaged in shipping and your calibration runs without any interruptions.

Weight Sets Smaller than 500g

• Tape the weight case closed.
• Place weight case in a plastic bag and tape closed.
• Place the weight case in an oversized shipping box/container secured properly with the appropriate packaging material.

Weight Sets Larger than 500g

• Remove weights larger than 500g from the weight case and wrap them in a lint free material followed by a second layer of protective packaging (bubble wrap, shipping paper, etc.).
• Place weight case in a plastic bag and tape closed.
• Package and place the individual weights and weight cases in separate boxes. Place both boxes in an oversized shipping box/container secured properly with the appropriate packaging material.

Individual Weights

• Wrap the weight in a lint free material followed by a second layer of protective packaging (bubble wrap, shipping paper, etc.).
• Place the packaged weight in a plastic bag and tape closed.
• Package the weight in an oversized shipping box/container secured properly with the appropriate packaging material.
• For multiple individual weights, be sure to securely pack the weight so there is no room for movement within the packaging box/container.

Please include the following items with each shipment:

• A completed Statement of Decontamination and order form- Please reference your prior certificate number on the order form.
• A hard copy purchase order reflecting the correct dollar amount.

Return Instructions for Defective Products

Return Repair Checklist

1. Contact Troemner’s Inside Sales Department for a Return Authorization Number at 856-686-1600.
2. Complete the Equipment Exposure Statement.
3. Read the Troemner Return/Warranty Repair Policy. (see below)
4. Ensure product is packed in original packing material.
5. Ensure Return Authorization Number and Equipment Exposure Statement are placed on the outside of the package.
6. Ship to: Troemner, 201 Wolf Drive, Thorofare, NJ  08086

Product Return/Warranty Repair Policy:
All returns/warranty repairs must be authorized by Troemner in order to ensure proper credit or repair. NOTE: All returns are subject to 15% restocking charge. Returns and warranty repairs must be received within 30 days from the date the Troemner Return Authorization Number was given. To ensure proper credit or warranty repair, each product returned must include the following information:

1. Customer name and address
2. Completed Equipment Exposure Statement (if product was used)
3. Catalog number of returned item(s)
4. Troemner Return Authorization Number
5. Reason for return in detail

Products not authorized for return/repair:

1. Returned products not in completely resalable condition (including products with damaged, missing or defaced labeling or packaging).
2. Laboratory apparatus or instruments that have been used or are without the original packaging, labeling and operating manuals.
3. Products not purchased from Troemner.
4. Discontinued products.
5. Products that have been altered, modified, missing components or misused.
6. Custom or special order items.

When necessary, customers shall include with each return the Equipment Exposure Statement from an authorized representative of the company. Troemner will maintain this as a record that the equipment was properly decontaminated in accordance with current regulations and other recommended guidelines. The product should be shipped to Troemner and the transportation charges prepaid. To ensure prompt handling, the Return Authorization Number should be placed on the outside of the package.
